Barbarita Palacios, "Vivir Así"

Barbarita Palacios, "Vivir Así"

After the acclaimed production of "Nubosidad Bailable" by Alfonso Barbieri, recorded in Gustavo Santaolalla's studio in Los Angeles and produced by Aníbal Kerpel, a new musical journey began thanks to a recommendation from Gustavo himself: to discover the extraordinary universe of Barbarita Palacios.

Together with her creative partner Javier Casalla, both members of Gustavo Santaolalla's band, Barbarita has created "Vivir Así", her third solo album. The album features eleven songs that blend Argentine rock, Latin American folk music, and a sonic exploration open to experimentation and song. Guests include Ricardo Mollo, León Gieco, Gustavo Santaolalla, Barbi Recanati, Melingo, and Luciana Jury.

In addition, Gustavo Santaolalla himself participates in "Baguala Desesperada", the song that closes the album alongside León Gieco, reinforcing one of the central themes that run through the entire work: the connection with Latin American musical identity.

From the first listen, we recognized not only the artistic quality of "Vivir Así", but also its international potential and ability to connect with diverse audiences. The album reflects on themes such as sensitivity, injustice, personal search, and collective transformation through art and love. Barbarita's voice and Javier Casalla's arrangements create a repertoire that combines intimacy, roots, and sonic exploration.

With "Vivir Así", we take on the challenge, and also the privilege, of bringing this wonderful music beyond Argentina to audiences around the world. We are convinced that this album is destined to become an important artistic success and an essential discovery for those seeking music with soul and emotional truth.

"Vivir Así" will be available worldwide at the end of July 2026 in vinyl and CD formats.
