Pájaro de fuego - Cazador Galáctico

Pájaro de Fuego, the group led by keyboardist and pianist Esteban Sehinkman, presents their new album, Cazador Galáctico (Club del Disco 2024), composed of original compositions, with the exception of a very free version of Sumo's "Mañana en El Abasto." Esteban Sehinkman, a restless pianist, session musician, producer, and creator of Real Book Argentina (the first compilation of Argentine jazz scores), offers with Cazador Galáctico a hypnotic journey that ranges from the roots of jazz to electronic trance, passing through rock and soundscapes. This fusion of galactic and spiritual music is captured in an elaborate recording that utilizes a variety of resources to emphasize the three-dimensionality of the sound. After several albums and ensembles, in this new work, Sehinkman introduces the new members of his group Pájaro de Fuego: Tomás Babjaczuk on drums, Martín Lozano on bass, Sebastián Lans on guitar, and Sehinkman himself on Rhodes piano and synthesizers. The alchemy of this instrumental quartet organically brings together Sehinkman's compositions, creating an album that is a sensorial, mystical, and musical experience.
