Contra las cuerdas - Nicolas & Alejandro Guerschberg

Brothers Nicolás and Alejandro Guerschberg present Contra las Cuerdas, their first album together, in which they offer a journey through their own compositions that travel freely between tango and jazz improvisation, with an undeniable atmosphere of Buenos Aires music. In the Guerschberg brothers' own words: “This project was born more than two decades ago, when we began playing together professionally as a brother and sister duo. During all this time, we have played, recorded, traveled, and participated in countless projects together, always from the perspective of music and brotherhood. We feel very fortunate and grateful to be able to share this passion and present this long-awaited project. It is also a tribute to our father, who passed away recently and was the one who instilled a love of music in us from a very young age. The works are a summary of compositions from different eras and stages and were specially arranged for this format and occasion. We plan to present it here and abroad, since we can travel as a duo and form the string group in different places.”
