Amor Motor - Ernesto Snajer

Amor Motor is my tribute to Paul McCartney on his 80th birthday. The main idea of the album was to cover his music with only guitars. Paul's songs are more relevant than ever; they're the ones that made me want to be a musician when I was a kid, and they always brighten my life.

I chose the songs without intending to cover a specific period or style. There are songs from The Beatles and also from solo albums.
In the final list, there were seven songs left but there could have been many more,
I found the choice difficult.

I really enjoyed recording. I arrived at the studio with no plans, played different songs, did some tests, and then decided which song to work on.
The same goes for the instrumentation, which I decided on while recording: there are very stripped-down solo versions, and large ensembles where the guitars play the role of the instruments in the original recordings.
