Escalandrum

Formed in 1999, Escalandrum is an Argentine sextet that fuses jazz, tango, folklore, and other rhythms, creating an innovative sound that transcends genres. With over two decades of experience, they have established themselves as one of the most influential groups on the Argentine music scene.

The group is comprised of Daniel “Pipi” Piazzolla on drums, grandson of the legendary Astor Piazzolla, who contributes his rhythmic strength and creativity; Nicolás Guerschberg on piano, with a virtuoso and versatile approach; Gustavo Musso on alto and soprano saxophone, offering an immersive sound; Mariano Sívori on double bass, with a solid and dynamic foundation; Martín Pantyrer on bass clarinet and baritone saxophone, adding depth to the ensemble; and Damián Fogiel on tenor saxophone, completing the performance with his melodic expressiveness.
