Barbarita Palacios is an Argentine singer, songwriter, guitarist, and instrumentalist. She was part of Semilla and Terraplén, two projects linked to the crossover between Argentine folklore, rock, and electronic music. Since those early works, her music has moved between folkloric roots, rock, song, and certain more experimental sounds.

As a solo artist, she released "Si Va," "Criolla," and "Vivir Así." "Si Va" was her first solo album, produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, Daniel Martín, and Aníbal Kerpel. "Criolla," her second album, continued that line of work blending folk and rock, with overall production by Gustavo Santaolalla and participation from musicians such as Javier Casalla.

Daughter of Egle Martin, Barbarita Palacios is part of a generation of Argentine artists who have approached roots music from less traditional perspectives. Her projects feature guitars, folk percussion, programming, and rock elements, without abandoning the connection to Argentine popular song.
